The picture above was obtained with a C8 telescope working at f/6.3 using Fuji Super G 800 Plus film and the negative was scanned with a Nikon LS-2000 film scanner. The exposure time was approximately 30 minutes.

February 21, 2002. The three lunar pictures below were obtained with an Olympus C2020 digital camera afocally coupled to a C8 telescope equipped with a 17 mm eyepiece. The camera was attached to the telescope with an adapter of my own design and manufacture. Details about the adapter as well as more images will be published later.

I've been an amateur astronomer for many years and occasionally I dust off my simple, partly homemade equipment and take some astrophotos. Check out my Astronomical Photo Gallery.

Bengt's Bond Blend. We're all thrilled when a new Bond film is released. During the summer of 1997 I had the oppurtunity to photograph Pierce Brosnan's stunt double Douglas James together with the L-39 Albatross jet plane that was used in Tomorrow Never Dies.

Misc pictures. Pictures of my cats, past and present, a beautiful sunset, and even a painting by yours truly! Look at this as a preview of a more extensive photo galley that is currently in the works.

It may come as a surprise to you but I do have some friends.

The background image is a processed version of one of my own pictures of comet Hyakutake.
