How to analyze malware?

Sometimes we want to analyze some binary file, like piece of executable software. Back in the days you would buy a piece of software on a CD or DVD disc. These disc were very expensive, sometimes up to $400 per office suite. In post soviet Poland we could not really afford this. Discs would come very often as copies and there was a small progam that would generate unlocking code for the commercial software.
