Hinds Date : June 1995 _________________________________________________________________________ 1/4 lb. oleo (margerine) 1 cup flour 1 lb. can chocolate syrup 1 cup sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 4 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla dash of salt Cream butter, sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beat well after each addition. Add chocolate syrup and blend. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add flour mixture to syrup andblend. Add vanilla. Pour into load pans. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. If using 8-inch square pan, bake for 35 minutes. _________________________________________________________________________
