Recipe: 00200 Title : Nancy's Chocolate Chip Cookies Author: Michael Wenlock Date : June 1995 _________________________________________________________________________ (Note: this recipe is not a high altitude recipe) Makes 6-7 dozen 4 1/2 cups flour 2 tsp baking soda 2 tsps salt 3/4 cup granulated sugar 2 1/4 cup dark brown sugar (packed) 4 eggs 1 Tbls. vanilla 2 cups butter, slightly softened (1 pound) 1 cup chopped walnuts 1 cup chopped pecans 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz.) Preheat oven to 350F Combine flour, soda and salt. Set aisde. In a large bowl, cream sugars and butter very well. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Gradually add flour mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Stir in the 2 cups of nuts. Mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonsfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 7-10 minutes. Cookies should look slightly UNDERDONE when you take them out. Let them rest a minute before removing them from the sheet onto a rack to cool. Note: you may want to add a bit of flour for the 2nd batch if the first batch you baked is a bit too thin or if they seem greasy. (This depends on the weather and the flour you use too.) Enjoy! -=-=-=-=-=-=- _________________________________________________________________________
