Recipe: 00189 Title : Toll House Cookies Author: Joel Ehrlich Date : June 1995 _________________________________________________________________________ Yields 36 Cookies 1/2 Lb Sweet Butter, Softened 2 1/4 Cups Flour 3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar 1/2 tsp Salt 3/4 Cup Dark Brown Sugar 1 tsp Baking Soda 2 Eggs 12 oz Chocolate Chips 1 tsp Vanilla Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Cream the butter and both sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla. Stir the flour, salt and baking soda together in a separate bowl. Stir the flour mixture into the butter mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop the batter by the spoonful onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes.
