Recipe: 00185 Title : Chewey Chocolate & Chip Cookies Author: Joel Ehrlich Date : June 1995 _________________________________________________________________________ Yields 48 Cookies 1/2 Cup Butter, Softened 1/3 Cup Cocoa 1 Cup Sugar 1 tsp Baking Soda 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed 1/2 tsp Salt 2 Eggs 10 oz Peanut Butter Chips 1 tsp Vanilla 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Beat the butter and the sugars together in a large mixer bowl until well blended. Beat in the eggs and vanilla. Stir the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt together. Gradually add to the butter mixture, beating until thoroughly blended. Stir in the chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until set (9-11 minutes).
