Recipe: 00152 Title : Double Chocolate Brownies Author: Kaycee Curr Date : June 1995 _________________________________________________________________________ 1/2 cup margarine Two 1 oz squares unsweetened chocolate 2 cups brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup flour 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup chocolate chips 1/2 cup chopped walnuts In a sauce pan, melt margarine and chocolate on low heat. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar. Blend in eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla, then quickly stir in flour mixed with salt. Fold in chocolate pieces and nuts. Spread batter in 9x11 inch pan. Bake 3250F for 30 minutes. Do not overbake. Surface of brownie should be glossy, and cake tester inserted in the middle of the brownie should still have a few large crumbs sticking on to it when pulled out. (When cool, the surface of the brownie will look like it has been glazed.)
