My wife has fine tuned it over the last couple of years. It is tastes rich, though if you look at the ingredients it is actually fairly low fat, more by accident than by design. 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup cocoa 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1 can evaporated skim milk 1 teaspoon vanilla Cook the first 4 ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat while stirring, until it turns thick and bubbly. Once it reaches that stage, continue to stir and cook for 2 more minutes. Remove from heat, then stir in the vanilla.
