Recipe: 00063 Title : Chocolate Sauce Author: Catherine E Bean Date : May 1995 _________________________________________________________________________ This recipe is my mom's hot fudge sauce. It came from her blender cookbook (so theoretically you just blend everything together) but my mother always cooks it on the stove to make it hot. No double boiler needed, but put the liquid in the pot with the chocolate to keep it from scorching. (That is, don't go melting the chocolate first and then putting in the rest of the stuff--just do it all at once.) Chocolate Sauce 4 squares (1 ounce each) UNsweetened chocolate 1 cup sugar 2/3 cup milk/cream/coffee or combination of coffee and milk 1 tsp or more vanilla dash of salt. Melt it all together on the stove or even in the microwave (carefully). This is very thick, esp. when cold. -=-=-=-=-=- _________________________________________________________________________
