Recipe: 00062 Title : Hershey's Hot Fudge Pudding Cake Author: C. Wilson Date : May 1995 _________________________________________________________________________ In answer to the Mud Pie recipe, here's one that one of my students gave me, so we call it . KIM'S HERSHEY'S HOT FUDGE PUDDING CAKE . Bottom Layer . 3/4 cup sugar 1 cup flour 3 Tbs. cocoa 2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 cup milk 1/3 cup butter 1-1/2 tsp. vanilla . Top Layer . 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 4 Tbs. cocoa 1-1/4 cup hot water Bottom layer: Heat oven to 350 degrees F. In large bowl, stir sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt together. Stir in milk, butter and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour batter into 8" or 9" pan. Top layer: Stir together sugar, brown sugar and cocoa. Sprinkle evenly over batter. Carefully pour water on top. DO NOT STIR. Bake 35-40 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool 15 minutes.
