Glögg - Swedish Mulled and Spiced Wine Spices liquor ------------- 5 dl water 2 Seville Orange Peel 2 pieces of Ginger 2 pieces of Cinnamon 10-15 cloves 2 tsp cardamon seed Boil all spices with water under cover on low heat for 30 minutes. Strain through a fine sieve. The spice liqour can now be mix in different ways. With Red Wine ------------- 1 bottle (75 cl) Red Wine 1 dl Sugar (vodka or brandy) Mix the spice liqours with wine and sugaar. If you want it stronger you can add 1 dl unspiced vodka or brandy. With Non Alcoholic Red Wine --------------------------- 1 bottle (75 cl) non alcoholic Red Wine 1 dl Sugar (3 dl apple juice or 1 dl blackberry juice and 2 dl water) Mix the spice liqours with wine and suger, if you want you can also add 3 dl apple juice or 1 dl blackberry juice and 2 dl water, that give it a nice taste. o to how to drink it. With Blackberry Juice or Blueberry Juice ---------------------------------------- 7.5 dl-1 l blackberry juice ready to drink or 5 dl blueberry juice ready to drink and 3 dl apple juice also ready to drink Mix the spice liqours with juice. How to drink it --------------- In all cases heat the glogg, but don't leat it boil if it has alcohol in it. Serve the glogg really hot in small cupes with raisin, nuts and scald almond.
