BLANK Version 0.0 [For IBM-Compatibles] A Manually-Invoked Screen Blanker Freeware from Kirk Lawrence Leaving text on the screen for extended periods of time can damage your monitor. The image of the text can become permanently "burned" into the phosphor on the face of your screen. To solve that problem, here's BLANK: a handy way to manually blank the screen when your computer is on, but is sitting idle. To "turn off" the screen, invoke BLANK at the CP/M-86 command prompt. To turn the screen back "on" again, simply press any key. BLANK works with all video systems when the screen is in text mode. Don't use BLANK if the screen is in graphics mode. BLANK.CMD is free. As is always the case with "freeware," there are no guarantees. If you use the program, you do so entirely at your own risk and peril. Your use of BLANK.CMD shall be prima facie evidence under law that you understand and accept these terms and conditions.
