2.CMD Version 0.0 - CP/M-86 Edition Copies The Screen Contents Between Monitors On Dual-Monitor Systems. Freeware from Kirk Lawrence (Thanks to Jeff Garbers for X2COLOR and X2MONO, which provided inspiration.) 2.CMD copies the screen contents of the active monitor to the inactive monitor. 2.CMD is "smart;" it automatically detects which monitor (color or monochrome) is active, and then copies the screen contents to the other monitor...so there is no command line argument necessary, and no special syntax to remember. 2.CMD works only with 80x25 text-mode screens; don't try it with graphics! ==> NOTE: In order for 2.CMD to operate properly, the inactive monitor must ==> first be initialized. To initialize the inactive monitor: you may use ==> a dual-monitor initialization utility at boot-up, such as the freeware ==> program INIT2.CMD. Or you may manually switch to the inactive monitor, ==> and then switch back to your original monitor. The freeware program ==> S.CMD or equivalent may be used to do this. 2.CMD is free. As is always the case with "freeware," there are no guarantees. If you choose to use 2.CMD on your computer, you voluntarily do so strictly and entirely at your own risk and peril. Your use of 2.CMD shall be prima facie evidence under law that you understand and accept these terms and conditions.
