SWAPLPTS Version 1.1 - Printer Port Swapper Copyright 1991 by John W Grothman. Released to the public domain. Ported to CP/M-86 by Kirk Lawrence SWAPLPTS "swaps" printer ports 1 and 2 on your computer. When you run SWAPLPTS, the printer port which was originally assigned as LPT1 becomes LPT2. Similarly, the printer port which was originally assigned as LPT2 becomes LPT1 (and also becomes the CP/M-86 default LST device). To restore your printer ports to their normal assignments after running SWAPLPTS, simply run SWAPLPTS again. The ports will once again be "swapped," and will thereby be returned to their original assignments. Re-booting the computer will also restore the original port assignments. SWAPLPTS.CMD is free. As is always the case with "freeware," there are no guarantees whatsoever. You use the program entirely at your own risk and peril. Your use of SWAPLPTS.CMD shall be prima facie evidence under law that you understand and accept these terms and conditions.
