I recently suffered a failure of the hard disk in the SB180 that serves as my main work machine. In the process, I unfortunately lost the most up- to-date version of the PCP MEX script suite, as described in my TCJ column in issue #45 (actually, I had even made some further improvements). I believe that the problem with the drive is with the electronics board and not with the recording media. If I can find someone who can repair the board, then I should be able to recover the lost files (or if I can locate the floppy disk on which I may have backed up the files for the TCJ column). In any case, I wanted to get something out to save people from having to do a lot of typing. Jay Sage July 15, 1990
