This is a new but 'unofficial' release of Martin Murrays NULU. The original documentation for NULU version 1.5 still applies except for the section headed NULU MODIFICATION where the patch addresses have changed. These have been detailed in NULUMOD.DOC in this library. I have also included a lengthy file called NULU152.INF which shows the changes that I have made. These are primarily intended for Martin Murrays use and may be of no interest to the user. There are, however, details of how to overcome the famous BDOS function 37 bug (actually BDOS function 14) from both within a program wishing to use this function and the easy way by patching the BDOS (not to be recommended). Also in this file is a description of an undocumented feature of the CP/M 2.2 and CP/M Plus BDOS which seems to have caused grief to many a software author (including MicroPro in Wordstar). It would seem that Digital Research 'forgot' to mention this invaluable feature when documenting CP/M 2.2 and Plus. I now reveal all to an unsuspecting world. Lastly, although I have checked this new release of NULU fairly carefully, I cannot guarantee that it is bug free. If anyone discovers a bug (which was NOT present in NULU versions 1.5 and 1.51), please let me know and I will fix asap. I can be contacted via MBBS Leconfield England (0401-50745 - V21/V22/V23 - 24hrs a day [See - free advertising Martin]) or voice on 01-954-8732 (Evenings - most definately NOT 24hrs a day). If anyone is in contact with the States or Canada, please upload this library (I can't afford it myself!). Mick Waters. 16/7/87 (07/16/87 for the Americans).
