Version 1.1 of PAUSE corrects a mistake in the operation of the
configuration flag that controls the display of messages to the user
(the flag was ignored before).  PAUSE is SAK with an additional
option to allow user response to set or clear the program error flag
rather than aborting the entire command line.  Thus, it acts like
"IF INPUT .." except that a default answer is returned after the
