RNFDOCS.PRN (.PZN) is printer ready output for 8 1/2 x 11 paper, using form-feeds. It was prepared from RNF.DOC. The first few lines of RNF.DOC are comments, which give simple instructions for re-formatting the manual to other page sizes. For use on other systems, see RNFSORC.LBR, which may easily be compiled on any Pascal system. This allows easy porting to main-frames (where the ability to handle upper-case only input may be valuable) and to MS/PCDOS machines. However I believe that only PascalP is usable under CPM, others are too profligate with memory. The original author is unknown to me, but this system has been run on CDC Cyber machines and UCSD Pascal. This PascalP version is MUCH faster and more flexible than the UCSD version. You can expect between 100 and 200 lines/minute. A useful mode for experimenting is: runpcd rnf (con, con) for input and output to the console. You can now enter lines and watch what happens. Terminate input with a ^Z at line left (EOF). C.B.F. 87/01/20
