TIMECL is an extension to the TurboDOS command interpreter which displays the current time (hours and minutes) as well as the local station letter in the command line. The time is not updated, but rather it is the time at which the command prompt was displayed by the system. Example: Without TIMECL: 0A}7C: 7C}DIR ... (detail left out) 7C} With TIMECL installed: [11:03 A] 0A}7C: [11:06 A] 7C}DIR (we see 3 minutes elapsed since last activity) ... (detail left out) [11:06 A] 7C}MASTER Console attached to master procesor [11:07 @] 0A} The time is displayed in 24-hour format HH:MM. The station letter is displayed after the time and is '@' if single user system or logged into the master processor, or the station letter 'A'..'P' of the slave used (if multiuser). NOTE: This is version 1.1 of TIMECL. Previous versions are obsolete. TIMECL is version independent as of ver 1.1 and has been tested under version 1.30 and 1.40. INSTALLATION: Installation of TIMECL is very straightforward and requires 3 steps: 1. Include TIMECL in your GEN file(s) 2. Add the following line to your .PAR file(s) CMDINT + 0C = TIMECL 3. Re-GEN your system Note to OEMs: 1. TIMECL is in the public domain and neither is nor should be serialized. 2. Please notify the author of commercial use (there are NO license fees) S.
