; ;-------------------------------------------------------------------------; ; ZMD - Modem/Port Overlay Listing 01/17/88 | ;-------------------------------------------------------------------------; This file lists all current ZMD compatible I/O overlays. These overlays are designed as an alternative to BYE5's Extended BDOS to handle the hardware-specific aspects of the ZMD file transfer program. ZMD allows a remote system to securely send and receive files without anyone being present on the host system. If running ZMD as a stand alone package (I/O routines not made available from your BYE program), choose one of the overlays listed below to patch into ZMD.COM (See discussion on 'Modem Interface' in ZMD reference manual). If you are running MBYE44+ with the extended BDOS option enabled, or if running BYE5, you will not need an overlay and can ignore any discussion on modem I/O overlays. With ZMD.COM on the current drive/user, follow these steps: 1 - Determine which of the overlays listed below best fits your own hardware configuration. You may need to edit the routines in an overlay that 'best' fits your requirements. 2 - Assemble with M80, SLRMAC or comapatible to produce ZM??-n.HEX file making sure that the resulting file is no more than 128 bytes in size. (None of the overlays listed below are that large, but if you make changes be sure to check!) 3 - Use MLOAD (included in ZMDOVLn.LBR) to merge the overlay with ZMD.COM as follows: A>MLOAD ZMD=ZMD.COM,ZMxx-n NOTE: If you will now run ZINSTL and select option '9' off of the main menu, you will not have to repeat this process for all ZMD programs - otherwise repeat step 3 for all ZMD utilities. ; ;-------------------------------------------------------------------------; ; NAME DESCRIPTION | ;-------------------------------------------------------------------------; ZMAA-1 .Z80 Apple SS/CCS card (Applicard) ZMAB-1 .Z80 Archives Business Computer (Z80 SIO or DART) ZMAC-1 .Z80 Apple II with Novation Cat Modem ZMAP-1 .Z80 Apple II with Mountain CPS Board ZMAS-1 .Z80 Apple SS/CCS card (Softcard) ZMCS-1 .Z80 CCS 2719 with External modem ZMDC-1 .Z80 D.C.
