EXTIME89.LBR FROM FOG#15/NYOUG, Modified by Liv Hinckley 04/09/88 The EXTIME.COM program simply counts days from the initilaization of the system clock, and 1988 is a leap year. So, if you don't correct for the extra day, your clock is off by a day after February 29th. This change to EXTIME88.LBR fixes the leap year error by adding onesday to the clock. It's a quick and dirty solution, but it passes the test. So we'll remind you now that you'll have to make another fix in March 1992! I don't know about you, but I expect to have a 10th birthday party for Ozzie! EXTIME89 and EXTIME90 work correctly, so you'll be ready without the bother of editing the file or reassembling. ; EXTIME.LBR ; ************************** ; submitted to COG by Don Strait ; 03/30/88 ; ; EXTIME (renamed Time.com on my disk) is an easier and ; faster way to set date and time on an Osborne Executive. ; You don't have to put in slashes ("/") or semi ; (":") colons, and the program knows the year - so you ; don't have to type it either. ; I downloaded this as part of a LBR from FOG#1 ; RBBS in California, called OXTOOLS.LBR, but this is the ; only file I found useful. All I did was to patch another ; version for 1987 and 1986 and delete the one for 1985 ; (for obvious reasons) that was in the original library, ; and stick them and the original DOC file (still squeezed) ; and Z80 source for anyone who cares in4o a library. ; Library has been updated again, it now contains ; versions of the program for 1988 and 1989. Enjoy.
