MB-KMD (Initial Release & Thank you's) by Bob Kramer Rock Island RCP/M (PBBS) (309) 786-6227 Please report any bugs you find or suspect to exsist along with any fixes you might suggest. New feature ideas are also welcome, however, because of the present size of MB-KMD, I'm looking for ways of reducing code, not adding to it. Several persons have contributed in helping me develop MB-KMD, and I would like to thank them here. To: - Initially - Ward Christensen, Keith Petersen and Irv Hoff for the MODEM2, XMODEM and KMD programs respectively. There is NO doubt that MB-KMD would not exsist if not for the fine support they have provided through the years. (Not to forget about those who contributed updates and fixes to these programs). - Tom Brady for his permission to allow NUKMD.HLP to be modified for use with the MB-KMD program, as well as many ideas that I picked up from the NUKMD100.ASM source code. - Arun Baheti for being so patient with me. Many times I thought Arun would drop the whole Beta-Test project, but he never batted an eye. Arun has offered many ideas as well, such as BATCH upload descriptions in a BBS message base. He has also provided information on several assembly bugs that cropped up. - Steve Foust for the ideas he provided me while writing the code for the routing of upload descriptions to a BBS message system and the use of his computer to beta-test MB-KMD at my own convenience. - Michael Conley for his continuing support in the development of MB-KMD and the ideas he has presented to me. Michael has provided many fixes and nice features to MB-KMD such as the datestamping routines for the upload descriptions, to name only one. - To the writers of the XMODEM series for the ideas and code that helped make the BYEBDOS, TIME and RTC coding in MB-KMD alot less complicated. - To the callers of my own system (Rock Island RCP/M-PBBS) for all the patience they exhibited during MB-KMD's development. (Nothing could be more frustrating than uploading a 200k file and NOT being credited for the amount of time it took to upload it, or being hung up on in the middle of an upload -- only because their time for the day was up. Not to mention the many other inconveniences). - I hope I have not left anyone out, but as is the case in almost all thank you's, I probably have. I want to just thank everyone that has contributed in one way or another to the development of MB-KMD. The overall support has been tremendous. Bob Kramer
