USERAREA Ver 1.0 USERAREA is a simple replacement for MASMENU for those who have changed the contents and arrangement of files on the Kaypro 10 hard disk. It does not have the cursor-bar selection feature, but simply lists the contents of each user area on drives A and B as a reminder. You must type the user area (e.g. USER 2) to go to that area. The files shown for each user area are examples only. You can edit USERAREA.COM (yes...it's an editable COM file!) to put in whatever you want, using Perfect Writer in its normal (not fill) mode, WordStar in the non-document mode, or any other text editor. Just a few words of warning, however: * DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING between the top of the file and the first line which starts with "CP/M Utilities" in the sample. * If you do not want to show all 16 user areas, you can delete those lines which are not needed. But DO NOT DELETE the "^@" at the end of the file; it must follow the last line that you want displayed on the screen. If you rename USERAREA.COM to MASMENU.COM (after renaming the original MASMENU.COM to MASMENU.BAK or something similar), and run PUTSYS, the new menu will appear each time you boot the computer.
