A NOTE ON NEWNC.LBR Dave Rand's NC is a great little program which is perfect for updating disks. It can either copy all the files on A which ARE NOT on B, or all the ones on A which ARE on B. The only problem is the command line is hard to remember. All I have done here is use the program Synonym.com to create two command files, NCN.COM and NCO.COM, which WHEN RUN ON THE SAME DRIVE AS NC.COM will do it for you without any complex command line. NCN.COM stands for for NC New files. It will copy all the files from A that are not on B. (To create it I used the following command line with Synonym (Syn.com): Syn NC /N A:*.* B:). NCO.COM stands for NC Old files. It will copy all the files from A that are on B. (To create it I used the following command line: Syn NC A:*.* B:. The program defaults to copying the old files.) In case some of you want to set up similiar command files to run from B to A, or something else, I have also included Syn.com, a great old program which is much underestimated. One last reminder: be SURE to keep NC command on the same drive as NCN.COM and NCO.COM, or else they will simply hang and you'll have to reset. Howard Schwartz St. Louis KUG
