CHEF-FIX.DOC Chef.lbr is a venerable and fine recipe program. The major problem has been a lack of documentation, in particular of how to call up the actual recipes. This is a result of a faulty menu, which offered several options, but did not include calling up the recipes among them. Now, after the initial selection of an ingredient or keyword, when a list of recipes has been presented, the menu reads as follows: Or you may: a. Add more recipes to this list b. Prune this list down c. Search another disk d. Previous menu (OR select one of the recipe #s.) e. Repeat the recipe list Which option do you want? Note the new option in parentheses in d: (OR select one of the recipe #s). In order to call up one of the recipes, simply enter its number and hit return. The recipe will promptly appear. Simply replace old copies of Chef.com with the version included in this library as a reminder of this crucial option. No other changes in the program have been made. I am grateful to Robert Rosenfeld's "Chefdoc1.ws" for the information of how to properly use this program. As this is the best doc available for this program, it is included in this library as well.
