FML.COM (Find in Mast.Lst) is a string locater for use with Irv Hoff's MCAT/XCAT disk catalog programs. This program defaults to MAST.LST or can be used with any file whose name is mentioned on the command line. See LOOKUP.DOC and LOOKUP.Z80 in this .LBR for more de- tails. The good news is that FML will find files in MAST.LST much faster than 'FIND MAST.LST FNAME'. The bad news is that your MAST.LST file must be small enough to fit into TPA. If larger, a statement says the entire file is too long and the excess will be unavailable. It will work normally to that point. It takes something like 2700 file names to exceed normal available space, however. To use, simply enter FML (and NOTHING else to default to MAST.LST). After a few seconds the '==>' prompt will appear. Now enter your file- name string and stand back. All matches will be displayed quite rapidly followed by another '==>', awaiting your next entry. To exit to CP/M simply enter a .
