                          For the PROMETHEUS smartmodem

            This  program  is  intended  for  the user who  wants  the
          ability to set the time and date on the modem.  This program
          was not designed to be run in an RCP/M environment, there is
          another program  for  that  function.   It  was designed for
          someone  like  a  SYSOP who must  change  the  time  at  the
          beginning of a session or day.   It can obviously be used by
          anyone who needs to set these features. 

            When running the program  all  the  information  needed is
          displayed  on the CRT along with the  switch  settings.   An
          equate  exists for when a program  like  BYExxx  is  already
          loaded and the need to set-up  the  SIO  or interface is not
          needed.  If the program is to  be  run when BYE is not used,
          then set that equate to 'NO' (no bye is used).  In this case
          the serial port will  be  set-up to interface to the modem.

            After a command is given, the program will display the new
          settings  for  date and time and return to CP/M. Again,  the
          only goal in life for this program is  to SET the time, then
          have it verify the new variables...
