When the Advent TurboROM is installed on a Kaypro several new video
features are enabled, as detailed in the TurboROM manual.  The
TurboROM default, which provides a 24-line scrolling window with a
locked 25th line (for clock or status display) has the unintended
side-effect of slowing down scrolling, whether through text, or
large directories.

This library discusses the problem and gives instructions how to
unlock the 25th line and speed up scrolling.  It also contains an
executable COM file and the "C" source to enable/disable the 25th
line on Kaypro '84 and Kaypro 10 computers with the TurboROM
installed.  The code compiles with Software Toolworks C/80 3.1 C
compiler.  The program will only function if the TurboROM is
installed.

These "STATLN" files were donated to the Detroit Kaypro Users Group
by Mr. Gary Dickinson, of Advent Products.
