Gentle Reader, Although people who read newsgroup like alt.stupidity can hardly be expected to master new technology without remedial help, I believe there is a growing need for an alt.stupidity WWW page. To start us off, I've constructed a page which contains some of the all-time favorite posts that I've managed to save, including: * a late "Song Lyrics from Hell" * MacIntyre's infamous "Chelsea Clinton a Capybara?" post * MacIntyre's "MAMMUT !" post which drew fire from none other than Andrew W. Beck,with * Adam Curry's response to the "Woodstock Commemorative Cascade" The URL is http://uvacs.cs.virginia.edu/~mrl6a/stupidity/buffoonery.html. If anyone has saved copies of: * the Disassociation cascade * the post in which John Lodder proclaims that he would ecstatic if someone were to periodically post "JOHN LODDER IS A WOMAN-HATER" * any post by the Hideously Aggressive BFG, the Fluffy AE, or other long-lost posters * anything else which is has become part of the alt.stupidity weltanschauung, particularly from previous years I would like to see them enshrined in the Halls of Medicine. I would have done a better job, but I graduated and recently found a job, so my page will last only through next summer.
