You never realise what you find
You never search your foggy mind
For something resembling an order
Caitlin stops and spins around
and you are hit by her rocky cloud
Where nothing is secure or tethered
And now it's time to raise your head
To pay the bills and make the bed
Create an illusion of order
Caitlin hits your door again
Breaks the hinges and the frame
Shoots her fire of love and anger
Never thought you'd feel this way
You'd never see the day
Lunatics
Here you are, held in her pinch
She throws you world around
You're lovers and lunatics
You step nervously through the door
It drops away and down you soar
Sprouting wings like a rocky angel
Caitlin catches you on the ground
You tumble down towards the mounds
by a brook and little flowers
Never thought you'd feel this way
You'd never see the day
Lunatics
Here you are in a glass jar
The world stretches out far
You're lovers and lunatics
You always wanted to be king
Now you're subject to a queen
With a taste for love and madness
Caitlin smiles and grips your chin
Says: "Steer clear of resting sin
The world will save your treasures"
Never thought you'd feel this way
You'd never see the day
Lunatics
Here you are, in revved up time
She pulls your head around
You're lovers and lunatics
